Another Strawberry Cheesecake

Find me boring? I just made another Strawberry Cheesecake! This time I topped the cheesecake with agar-agar over the sliced strawberries.
Thanks to the Korean Strawberry season... think Cold Storage is over-stocked with strawberries coz they r selling 4 punnets for only SGD 9.99 ;-)

and I found this FAT-FREE cream cheese @ cold storage.... and I told myself, MUST BUY MUST BUY!! :D

Also from Cold Storage... No Frills Brand Marie biscuits for the cheesecake base. FairPrice Butter from my fridge.... My fridge is always well-stocked with FairPrice Butter! Cheap & Nice!
Again, the SQ's 7 o'clock way of presenting a slice of my cheesecake :P

5 o'clock

  1. Hi, your cheese cake looks so yummy. I would like to make it this for my hubby's surprise party this sat. May I check
    (1) Can I freeze the cake after it's completed (so I can hide it in the freezer) and for how long?
    (2) May I know the size of the cake tray you are using?

    Many thanks, Daphne

  2. thanks for visiting Daphne ;-)
    1) i dun suggest freezing of this cheesecake as it will affect the strawberry and agar-agar portion.... they will become frozen hard, difficult to cut and eat. quite difficult to hide this cake as the whole process needs 7-8hrs to set in the fridge leh :P else u just leave the strawberry + agar-agar portion. then u can hide it in the freezer... but same thing, the longer time u freeze, cutting is a challenge :D
    2) i'm using a 8 inch loose bottom cake pan for this cheesecake.

enjoy! i'm making this soon too ;-)

  3. Many thanks Sherynn :) Much appreciated! I think I'll just go without the strawberry and agar agar like you said.
